WTF?!?
It just became my least favorite episode of Bones... as well as one of my least favorite episodes of any TV show.
Maybe I'm biased, because this episode was really heavy on the Hannah. REALLY heavy. She and Booth just kept kissing and kissing and being all couple-y, and as an avid B&B shipper, I didn't appreciate that.
Also, the fact that the episode provided two chances for Hannah to die, but she didn't, got on my nerves a bit.
And then at the end she and Brennan were talking like friends. I think that was the worst part for me, because it either means that a) Brennan's feelings for Booth simply aren't strong enough for her to feel malice towards Hannah or b) that Brennan actually likes her. And if Brennan likes her, then that makes her compatible with Hannah, and since she's (obviously) compatible with Booth, by the transitive property, that would make Booth truly compatible with Hannah.
I think.
And that will make her a hell of a lot more difficult to get rid of. I mean, why would Booth want to break up with her? He wouldn't. He won't. It will be her-- it HAS to be. And since she is so enamored with Booth, she'll have to tire of her current job.
Or Brennan will have to tell her to back off, but I doubt that will happen.
So, really, this wasn't a bad episode. I mean, I did have some nice laughs (especially in the beginning: the clam, the knife, etc.), but it scared the sh!t out of me. And made me just slightly depressed. Simultaneously.
If Hannah doesn't disappear shortly after the holiday break (at the very LATEST), I might need to start drinking while I watch this show... or suffer a psychotic break. We'll see.
